Welcome on excursion “City of contrasts”. Century of interaction between East and West, obviously, has given a specific shade, highlighting its uniqueness and charm among the other cities of Baltic. Our qualified guide will show you places that are not "visible" from the bus and will describe you special features that you didn’t know before about Helsinki. We will visit the historical center with Senate Square, Helsinki’s most historic and beautiful square designed in the early 1800s.We will find out why there is Monument to the Russian tsar Alexander II in the city center, and what it looks like inside significant Helsinki Cathedral, the symbol of Helsinki and one of the most familiar landmarks in Helsinki. We will see Government Palace, which is still the seat of the Finnish Government today, and the Prime Minister has his office on the second floor. Main University Building, founded in 1640, Merchant Houses built in the 18th century. On the way to the South Harbour at the very beginning of the Esplanade Park, we see Presidential Palace and Helsinki City Hall. After that we will pass through the Market Square, which is Helsinki's most international and famous market. We will make short stop to buy traditional market foods and treats, as well as handicrafts and souvenirs or just comfortably sip steaming hot coffee. During the stop on Market Square, we will admire Uspenski Cathedral, the largest Orthodox cathedral in Western Europe. With its golden cupolas and redbrick facade, the cathedral is one of the clearest symbols of the Russian impact on Finnish history. We can’t imagine any tour without meeting with one particular famous lady - Havis Amanda, which is the most popular nude figure and the granite fountain. Free time in the city.

We invite everyone to have a dinner in the Finnish restaurant (50 euro)

Restaurant Zetor - a little countryside in the center of Helsinki! A place where you can enjoy food or drink around long village tables and among tractors. The menu of food and drinks is full of Finnish spirit. Large portions of Finnish cuisine.

Savotta restaurant is an interesting Scandinavian cuisine restaurant. Once you get here, you get into a place filled with a truly Finnish atmosphere. It is located on Senate Square, near the Senaatintori tram stop. The menu offers a wide variety of fish dishes and, of course, bread cheese, which is considered one of the delicacies of local cuisine. All dishes here are prepared from the freshest local products. The interior of the restaurant with a low arched white ceiling and a fence along the walls recreates the atmosphere of antiquity. This is a quiet place with a summer open veranda and cozy wooden furniture, where you can have a good time.
